Some of our completed projects

Please take some time to view a handful of the many recent projects we have completed in and around Peterborough. We do our best to document all projects from the start to finish but, as quality is our main priority, we don't always capture before images;

Full Refurbishment, Orton Goldhay

A very tight budget on this one but the end result was great. Our last job of the year and we worked for every penny! The initial quotation for this project was above £15,000 and that was low compared to our competitors £20,000 quote, with 5 pages of work and requirements. After a little negotiating we managed to get closer to the clients budget of £10,000 but keeping most of the list we started with.

As this was a full refurb on a budget price, we had a lot of prep to do, Fast! Clearing the property of all rubbish, flooring, doors and a kitchen to start. Some ceilings needed patching and plastering whilst others just a refresh with matt white. Preparing all of the walls for decorating took a lot of our of time due to the amount of holes the tenants had left and the state of the walls under the wall paper.

We always have an organised plan for every project, especially refurbishments, but on this one it did get a little muddled in the middle.

All 5 completed bedrooms, required their own En-Suite or access to bathroom, linked smoke detector and lockable doors. We had 5 guys on this one and finished well within the required time frame, or so we thought...

There's always going to be problems and issues during a job and of course planning for every event is impossible but we do our best to mitigate these issues or resolve them quickly. Unfortunately some things are out of your own control, especially when external influences are included in a project. On this one the Landlord and hired help were ones we did not foresee...
